The 2012 Community

There are many interesting theories and dedicated spiritual sceintists looking into the new paradigm and 2012.

The three most noteworthy are:

John Major Jenkins - Astronomical based conclusions. Pretty grounded in the science of it all.

Jose Arguelles - Mayan Calendar decoder, advocating a return to a 13 month 28 day Lunar Calendar. (although this is an approximation of Sun and Moon cycles)

Carl Calleman - Archaeological based and originator of many theories about "what it all means". For instance he thinks the calendar ends on October 28, 2011

The Missing Piece

What is missing from the toolkit of these modern thinkers is a complete system to plug the Mayan calendar into. The reason the Vedic system is so useful for delineating all ancient prophesy is because it is complete. We really do not have the full picture about the Mayans and exactly HOW these ideas fit into their day to day life. Whereas with the Vedic people we do. We know their diet and health (Ayurveda) their full astrological system (with all nine visible planets, connected to myths, elements, aspects, etc. etc.) Their actual methods of spiritual attainment (Yoga). These things are meticulously unraveled for us.

The Mayans were living in the same world as the ancient Indians, so the same occult wisdom was available to them. In "The Mayan Code" Barbara Hand Clow attempts to make a connection to the Vedic people and the Yugas (as most of these scholars do) to draw some synchronicity.. as if the somehow the same people that "taught" the Vedic people influenced the Mayans (this is where the UFO theories and other stuff usually enters the conversation).

There is no need to connect them in space. When we understand the Cosmology (our earth and Solar system in relationship to the Sun, etc), we will understand that the Earth itself and all of its people would have been receiving the same sacred vibrations - just as now. The same sacred vibrations that wrote the Vedas and gave rise to Yoga are the same vibrations that created the Mayan calendar and influenced that culture and ALL cultures of the time.

Below is a graphic of a Mayan Pyramid. Number 9 plays a prominent role as tere are nine levels to the pyramid. Anyone who studies Vedic astrology, or vedic thought knows that the reason nine is so important is that there are nine planets - nine Agents of Karma.

Sunspots, Helioshphere, Planet X

There has recently been a lot of talk about the absence of sunpsots. This is nothing new. Periods of inactivity are normal for the sun, but the current spot-free period has gone on much longer than usual. This cycle is just simply “off to a slow start,” said NASA solar physicist David Hathaway.

The Heliosphere is the Sun's protective influence extended to the end of the solar system. If it were not there we would be subjected to the intense radiation emenating from the galactic center. There are wierd rumors that the Heliosphere is no longer working and we are being bombarded with rays from the galactic center now, etc.. not true.

Planet "X" Niburu is not in our Solar System. 

My opinion about these theories, is that they are a waste of time and are generally the product of minds that do not grasp the enormity of WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT 2012.

The truth is stranger than fiction and is amazing. we are seeing the shifting of consciousness rapidly and it is based on things that were known and said thousands of years ago. It is activating the exact energies that are referred to in the Vedic tradition of Yoga and enlightement. Again, the Vedic system is the only one complete enough to give a comprehensive picture. When correctly understood Yoga and Eastern spiritual practices shows the path opening before us AND have the exact steps to take to reach our full potential.

After ascending from the darkest era, for 1400 years, we entered the age of electricity (Dwapara Yuga) in 1900 and now find ourselves in the darkest part of this new ascending cycle. We are ascending from darkness, rather than descending from light. Notice how rapidly technology has progressed since 1900.

In all areas of life. The population explosion alone is remarkable.
In 1850 there were 1.2 billion people
In 1955 There were 2.5 billion people
Now there are almost 7 billion people on Earth

1900 – 1920 Dwapara Kali Kali
1920 – 1960 Dwapara Kali Dwapara
1960 – 2020 Dwapara Kali Treta
2020 – 2100 Dwapara Kali Satya

All the great spiritual texts from thousands of years ago were from a time when they had previously been more enlightened and were losing it. From a more enlightened perspective they were slipping into darkness.

Now we are coming from a darker place and trying to ascend toward the light.  The important thing to know is that these shifts have been happening for 20 or 30 years and will continue for years to come. 

We have been within 1 degree / 1 day of the EXACT alignment for 50-75 years as the rate of precession is about 75 years per degree. (1 solar day)

The Role of Astrology

When understood, Astrology will always show the deeper connections between heaven and earth. In the case of 2012, the connections are massive. To endlessly refer to planetary cycles and astrology signs without really understanding their astrological meaning, beyond generalities is very unfulfilling. It has unfortunately led to a lot of "Age of Aquarius" kind of ungrounded thinking. In fact the astrology of 2012 is just as mindblowing as the astronomy (if you have not studied this yet, get my free manual "The Astrology and Astronomy of 2012" by giving your name and email address on this page).   

The current and future astrology is incredibly profound in showing how and why these changes are happening now.
